Our Story
Arc Inventions is a nanotechnology startup doing R&D on next generation battery material. It was founded by Zaid Al Rayyes, the inventor behind the business and its products. ARCINV was previously incubated in the UAE NewSpace Innovation Program run by the UAE Space Agency.
Initially, the plan was to make a new sensor to measure and more precisely control the attitude of satellites. After graduating from the incubator, the startup decided to pivot after realizing there is a bigger market for satellite batteries instead of sensors, and an even larger technological gap in the manufacturing method for making and recycling these batteries. By filling this gap, Arc Inventions will create and control a new sustainable supply chain for making batteries worthy of the future energy economy.
Vision
Arc Inventions envisions itself being the first company to launch a satellite powered by 100% recycled battery material - a space craft that can explore our planet without harming its natural resource in doing so. The vision also centres around redesigning batteries to fit inside the satellite structure instead of taking precious internal space.

Arc Inventions is uniquely positioned with intellectual property on methods for recycling Li-ion batteries as well as trade secrets on how to better synthesize solid-state batteries out of recycled material.
